Kay W. Cantrell Foundation = Teacher Training Year Two

REAP is truly grateful for the very generous donation of $20,000 from the Kay W. Cantrell Foundation. The funds are dedicated to year two of REAP’s work with K-5 teachers and students at Burgess-Peterson Academy. REAP is impacting over 380 students at Burgess-Peterson each year.

From the Foundation:
“The Kay W. Cantrell Foundation is honored to support organizations like REAP. Our foundation supports literacy, learning differences, childhood diseases & conditions, and mental health. We believe that early identification, intervention, and evidence based remediation is key to providing the students the tools they need to be successful in learning to read. Because of REAP’s focus in literacy with teacher training in public schools using the Orton-Gillingham approach, we chose their organization. REAP’s passionate leaders, Jen Rhett and Carla Stanford and grass root organization are to be applauded in all that they have accomplished thus far. We wish them the best in the future.”
