Four decades of reading research have provided undeniable evidence about how children learn to read. This evidence has not made its way into most classrooms where many children are still failing to learn to read. These children can learn to read when we align reading instruction with the evidence. The Reading League’s mission is to advance the awareness, understanding, and use of evidence-aligned reading instruction.   Join Laura Stewart as she shares the journey of The Reading League, the conceptual models which underscore the mission, and the exciting next steps to forming a Reading League chapter here in Georgia!

All children deserve to learn to read, and all teachers can learn to teach them.
